Situated to the very West of the Borovets region, Belchinski Bani is a classic spa village with exceptionally high quality mineral waters. The Dolna Banya/ Eastern side of the Borovets region is well known for its spa centres but Belchinski Bani is very often overlooked by tourists and even Bulgarians themselves.

Situated near the foot of the Rila Mountains, the views from the area are fantastic and un-obscured. The area benefits from being close to the capital of Sofia with easy via not only the primary new main road but also another less known main road that is usually quicker.

The current spa was constructed in Communist times but the site had been used for hundreds of years before that as the water have numerous healing and therapeutic properties. The main swimming pool found within the complex is filled with pure heated mineral water, direct from the mountains. The complex does have specialist treatments for this suffering from respiratory, skin and arthritic ailments

There is also an open air swimming pool complex filled with mineral water and is great for a family day out. In the summer months, famous Bulgarian folk singers visit and concerts are sometimes held close by.
