Dospei village is very well located on the main road between Sofia/Samokov onto Beli Iskar (where the road forks and you can proceed to Govedartsi/Malyovitsa resort or onto Borovets).

  The backdrop of the village is the Rila Mountains which look stunning all year round and are a fantastic place for walks.

  Dospei is larger than the average Bulgarian village has three bars and some shops. Family run hotels and villas for rent are becoming increasingly available in the village also (have a look on our ‘Rent’ section for some suggestions).

  Borovets is around 9kms away and Beli Iskar village is about 3kms away. The edge of Samokov town is 2kms away and provides many amenities. Sofia is just under an hours drive away along a good main road which goes past Lake Iskar, a popular tourist destination in its own right.
