Cyrillic (Bulgarian) spelling: продановци Area code: 2019   Almost a nuclear village to Samokov town, Prodanovtsi is a quaint and unspoilt village situated at the start of the spa region. With good access to all the facilities that Samokov provides and of course, good access to Borovets and the new Super Borovets region, it is a great place for a holiday home.

  The village is quite small (population circa 540) but as with most in the area, it does provide the basic amenities and even has a small park in the centre which is unusual. A village hall, pub/caf? and a local shop can be found close to the centre of the village and there is bus service to Samokov town on a daily basis.

  The village is located about 500m up from the main Sapareva Banya-Samokov road which ensures this village is easy to access all year. Just up from it is the large village of Rayovo which does provide more facilities. But with Samokov just being a few kilometres away, every facility is to hand.

  Sofia city is just 40kms away and village is between 750 and 1000m above sea level. Total size of village including all the regulation areas is 21km2.
